Our first stop in Vienna was the 1400 room Schonbrunn Palace, the summer home of the Hapsburgs.

We checked into the Grand Hotel Wien, one of the most elegant hotels we have ever stayed in

The next day's highlights included a visit to the Hofsburg Palace, winter home of the Hapsburgs.


This wing of the 2000+ room palace contains the Royal apartments, which we toured.	This balcony is where Hitler addressed Austrians after taking over the country.
